Allyson Felix

Allyson Michel Felix was born November 18, 1985. She was born in Los Angeles. Paul Felix, her father was a pastor ordained of Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix worked at Balboa Magnet elementary school. Felix was a natural athlete and discovered her love for sprinting in the sprints at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Ten weeks after the first attempt she made her skills, she placed 2nd in the 200m race at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. In 2003 Felix graduated from high school and signed a professional deal with the athletics company Adidas prior to matriculating at the University of Southern California where she completed her elementary education. Felix took home her first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics held in Athens Greece. Felix set a Junior World Record by sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 second. At the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the youngest winner in the world in the 200m. She won the title in 2007. won the title against her Jamaican adversary Veronica Campbell. Felix was consistently in the top 3 in her various events at the Olympics which took place at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
